Webinar exploring haemonchus treatment decisions - June 2026

To help farmers, vets, and SQPs, make informed treatment decisions for the increasing threat from haemonchus, RUMA Agriculture is chairing a webinar entitled ‘Haemonchus – The challenge of treatment decisions’ this Monday 29th June that brings together key experts for a timely webinar on managing one of the most challenging parasites currently facing sheep farmers. Supporting organisations include SCOPS, SVS, the University of Edinburgh, Moredun and BVA.

Topics covered will include understanding haemonchus as a parasite, identifying clinical signs, using FAMACHA cards and training as a potential new tool, and applying lessons from 2025 farm case studies to treatment decision making in 2026. The webinar will conclude with a panel discussion.
